REPLAY: GHS Silver Streaks boys basketball vs Comer @ Taylorville Holiday Tournament

The Galesburg Silver Streaks get their first win of the Taylorville Holiday Tournament and first neutral win of the season. The Streaks took down Comer, 68-33. An all-around team effort for the Streaks as they slowly built their lead throughout the game. They ended the first quarter up 10, increased the lead to 16 by half, and forced a running clock for the duration of the fourth.

The Streaks improve to 5-10 ending a 4-game losing streak.

The Streaks shot well goi9ng 21 of 46 from the field, 6 of 15 from three, and 20 of 24 from the line. They outrebounded Comer 33-29 and had 15 assists to 12 turnovers. Three Streaks finished the game with double digits scoring: Jackson Crock Sibbing (15), Ethan Oxley (14), and Jaxon Wyatt (14).

Ethan Oxley was named Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game. He helped the Streaks take off early as he did not miss a shot going 6 for 6 from the field and 2 for 2 from the line. He finished with a career high in points at 14 and added 7 rebounds.
