The Galesburg Silver Streaks finished out the Chuck Dayton Holiday Classic in DeKalb with a gritty overtime win over the Lincoln Way West Warriors, 66-64. The Streaks opened up with as big as an 11-point lead in the first half before the Warriors tied the game at 32 before the break. The Warriors used that momentum to go up by 9 in the third before the Streaks rallied to take a late lead. A Warriors 3 sent the game into overtime where both teams struggled before Galesburg pulled out the 2 point victory. The Streaks finished the tournament with a 2-2 record and go to 7-6 overall.

Three Streaks finished in double-figures. Eden Mayala scored a team-leading 21 points and made some crucial free throws down the stretch to be named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game. Mayala would go 9 of 12 from the field, 3 of 3 from the line, and finished with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. Stone Thiel scored 18 points and was named to All-Tournament Team honors. Thiel left the game late with a knee injury. The Sophomore Cesaire Bile would be the third Streak in double figures with 15. Galesburg shot 24 of 54 from the field, went 6 of 22 from deep, and made 12 of their 20 free throws. The Streaks had 43 rebounds (13 offensive), 16 assists, and 17 turnovers.
