The Galesburg Silver Streaks lose their third all-time meeting against the Ridgewood Rebels, 59-42. A competitive first half saw the Streaks only trailing by 5 at the break; however, The Streaks could not put together an offensive run in the second half as they would only generate 17 points. Galesburg falls to 1-2 in tournament play and are an even 6-6 on the year.
Rahkim McCellan for the second game in a row was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game. His interior passing was a crucial spark for the Streaks in the first half as he finished with a team leading 14 points along with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks. Stone Thiel scored 9 points, and Cesaire Bile finished with 6. Galesburg went 16 of 43 from the field, 3 of 17 from deep, and 7 of 11 from the line. They finish with 28 rebounds, 11 assists, and 18 turnovers.
