Others scoring for Galesburg included Ella Herchenroder with 9 points, Lily Furrow had 8, Zaniyah Carter finished with 7, Khloe May had 6, Ellie Johnson had 5, and Taylor Herchenroder had 3 points. Overall, Galesburg shot 26 of 56 from the field, 5 of 23 from three-point range, and 13 of  21 from the free throw line. They pulled down 32 rebounds, 19 of which were offensive, they had 17 assists, and committed 11 turnovers. The Streaks forced 14 turnovers by the Maroons.

The Silver Streaks will be back in action Saturday when they travel to Quincy for a big conference rematch with the Blue Devils. Mitch McVey and Jason Wessels will have game day coverage starting at 1:15pm with the pregame on 93.7 FM and 1400 AM WGIL and wgil.com.
