In this episode of Galesburg’s Morning News, Phil Dickinson, owner of Landmark Cafe & Creperie and First Friday organizer, previews the season’s opening event on June 6, from 5-8 p.m. on Historic Seminary Street. Attendees can enjoy live local music by Bits & Pieces, new products from merchants, street food from Seminary Street restaurants, and adult beverage sampling. Free children’s activities from the Galesburg Community Art Center and Discovery Children’s Museum make it family-friendly. Dickinson shares tips like bringing lawn chairs, highlights sponsors like OSF Healthcare, and discusses how First Fridays unite Galesburg’s community while boosting local businesses.
