After years of potential neglect, the Wyatt Earp Birthplace is open again in Monmouth -- at least, it will be as of this Friday, when a ribbon-cutting is held on the site.
Then, on Saturday, there will be a daylong open house, showing off what the birthplace's Jason Robbins -- a local businessman -- says is a treasure that needed a lot of TLC.
Robbins talks to Will Stevenson on Galesburg's Evening News.
