Weekend event celebrates Congolese Galesburg and Monmouth-area residents

For the third year, the local region will celebrate what is a growing part of the population:  residents who are native to the Congo.  "LIPANDA Days" will have events in both Galesburg and Monmouth this weekend, starting Friday and running through Sunday.

Organizers Gogo Kupa and Stefan talk about the events with Will Stevenson on Galesburg's Morning News.
