The Galesburg Trades & Labor Assembly will hold its 125th consecutive Labor Day Parade on September 4. It is the second longest-running Labor Day Parade in the U.S. Following the parade there will be a program at Standish Park featuring remarks by Trades & Labor president Randy Bryan and Mayor Pritchard and recitation of a Sandburg poem by Larry Diemer. Food will be served by Jimmie Dickerson’s Barbecue.
