46th National Stearman Fly-In

9:00 am: Daily pilot briefing, Stearman Fly-In seminar tent, Galesburg Municipal Airport
9:30 am: Seminar, “Basic Med and the Third Class,” presented by Dr. Bruce Chien, Senior Aviation Medical Examiner, Peoria, IL. Jet Air hangar, Galesburg Municipal Airport.
10:00 am – 6:00 pm: Narrated tram rides along Stearman flight line for general public (weather permitting). $1 per person.
11:00 am: Lunch-time fly-out to Kewanee Municipal Airport, Kewanee, IL. Catered by Eilers Catering, Kewanee. Menu: Butterfly pork chop sandwich, Kewanee’s Famous Potato Salad, broccoli salad, mixed fruit bowl, dessert, iced tea, lemonade. Price $7.
3:00 pm: “The Last Fighter Pilot,” presentation by retired Army Air Corps Capt. Jerry Yellin, Champions Gate, FL, at the Stearman Fly-In seminar tent. Yellin will sign copies of his newest book after the presentation. Books will be available at the signing.
4:00 pm: Pilot briefing for Monmouth Prime Beef Festival Parade fly-over. Fly-In seminar tent, Galesburg Municipal Airport.
5:00 pm: Monmouth Prime Beef Festival Parade fly-over.
Evening: Dine out in Galesburg.
