Annual Water Well Sealing Demonstration

The Knox County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) hosts an annual well sealing demonstration to educate landowners about the risks posed by abandoned water wells, how to seal a well themselves, and available cost share. Short presentations will be given by the Knox County Health Department, Knox County SWCD and the landowner. The 2021 demonstration will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17th, 2021 at 2051 Centerville Road, Victoria, IL (from IL Route 180, head west on Knox Road 2400 N, turn right on Centerville Road, the Demo is at the first gate on the right). There will be signs posted.
