DESCRIPTION:The annual Galesburg Memorial Day Parade steps off at 10 a.m. Monday\, May 26 along the usual parade route in Downtown Galesburg. Organized by Galesburg VFW Post 2257\, the parade will start at Main and Chambers streets and march west on Main Street before turning south on Cherry Street and finishing at the Knox County Courthouse. \nParade participants can meet near Main and Chambers streets at 9 a.m. \nThe grand marshal of the parade will be Gerald Wright. He served in the Korean War (1950-1953).
