Galesburg Community Chorus Fall Concert

This concert is generously sponsored by Midwest Bank of Western Illinois, and features the work Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi and Rejoice in the Lamb by Benjamin Britten.
One of the composer’s most famous and often performed works, Vivaldi’s Gloria has an infectious and joyous energy which has moved and inspired audiences for centuries. By contrast, Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb is a classic of the 20th century, with moods ranging from exuberant to playful to wonderfully strange.
