Galesburg Rescue Mission Harvestime Sharathon

The 34th annual Harvestime Sharathon for the Galesburg Rescue Mission and Women’s Shelter is scheduled for Saturday, November 18. It is being sponsored by WGIL and The Register-Mail. WGIL 93.7 FM & 1400 AM will broadcast the Sharathon live from 7am-6pm (portions possibly pre-empted for local sports broadcasts).
Our goal for this year’s event is $50,000…a figure representing approximately 12% of the mission’s annual budget. The finances raised through this endeavor will be used for winter utilities, Christmas food boxes, and general operating expenses.
To donate during the Sharathon, call 342-9194. Volunteers will also be making phone calls during that day from The Register-Mail. To donate to the Rescue Mission outside of the Sharathon, call 343-4151.
