Listen to WGIL Radio to hear all school closings. \nALSO: In November\, we are closed for families to celebrate Thanksgiving. In December\, our last day is the Christmas dinner on December 17th. After that date\, we are closed until the first Wednesday in February 2026.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome NewComer Club will meet 9:30 a.m.\, September 24th at First United Methodist Church on Kellogg and Ferris.\nTammy Weaver owner of the Garden Station will talk about herbs and decorating for the Holidays. \nFeel free to come meet other new and current residents of our community for fun\, education\, and camaraderie.   Guests are welcome.  The Club provides members with the opportunity to develop friendships through a variety of activities.   And participate in Charitable organizations in our community. \nTHIS MONTH we are collecting items old towels\, blankets\, paper towels\, toilet paper\, bleach\, or cleaning supplies needed by our Knox County No Kill Animal Shelter. \nAnyone who can knit or crochet\, we are collecting caps and scarves for the needy. This is a citywide drive that will be advertised in the Burg.  The library will be collecting the hats and scarves.
