Honoring Our Elders: A Homecoming Service

FreeAn afternoon worship service featuring guest minister Rev. Charles B. Jackson from St. John AME Church in Springfield, IL. He was the minister in charge of Allen Chapel AME Church at the time when most of those being honored were most active in the church. As part of Allen’s 164th Anniversary Celebration Series, this service will give specific honor to: Phyllis Crummer, Roland McDougald, Charles and Dorothy Morrow, Cora Mae Page, Mary Catherine Rhodes, Gerald ‘Sonny’ Young, and posthumously Louis Duncan and Rosella Peters.
