May Friendship Day

May Friendship Day, sponsored by Church Women United, will be held at 9:00 a.m. for breakfast (donation) at the First United Methodist Church in Monmouth. All Church Representatives are asked to bring their Least Coin offerings. The lesson theme for May 4th is “Reaching For Wholeness – In Gratitude for God’s Presence”. It will focus on our gratitude for God’s presence in all things and especially as we respond to human needs. Childhood hunger is one of the most important needs at the present time and that is our focus in this program. The program presenter will be Anita Anderson and the speaker will be Nancy Mowen, Executive Director of Jamieson Community Center. The church is handicap accessible, plus babysitting is available.
