Off-Broadway Musical: Disenchanted!

The Western Illinois University Bureau of Cultural Affairs (BCA) presents Disenchanted!, for one performance at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 in the Grand Ballroom of the University Union.
Laura Elizabeth Flanagan, one of the actors, is a native of Quincy, Illinois and attended WIU. This performance is the only one in our area during this national tour.
With book, lyrics and music by Dennis T Giacino, with Fiely Matias, the Off-Broadway run of this musical comedy was nominated for multiple awards and launched a national tour, which comes to Macomb in an intimate, cabaret-style performance with table seating.
The original storybook heroines are not too happy with the ways they’ve been portrayed, so they’ve tossed their tiaras to come to life and set the record straight. Forget the princesses you think you know, these royal renegades are here to comically belt out the truth in this not-for-children musical comedy.
The recommended audience age is 16 and older. This show contains adult language and adult content. General admission tickets are $30 in advance and $35 the day of performance. WIU student tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of.
