DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the 4th of July at Lake Storey Park in Galesburg with Big Bang BOOM!\nWGIL\, 92.7 FM The Laser\, the Galesburg Lions Club\, and the City of Galesburg are teaming up once again to present the area’s largest Independence Day fireworks display synchronized to a music soundtrack. This FREE community event is made possible with the support of Blick Art Materials\, Nissan of Galesburg\, WestRock\, and Roto Rooter! \nFor the best viewing experience\, bring your family to Lake Storey Park on Thursday\, July 4th\, to claim your spot along the north bank of the lake. The fireworks will launch from the south side of the lake on the edge of the campground. If you watch the fireworks from somewhere other than Lake Storey Park\, you will miss quite a bit of the show\, including low-flying fireworks like ground-based displays and special effects. \nThere will be sound systems at a couple of locations in the park\, but you can also bring your own portable radio so that you can hear the synchronized Big Bang Boom soundtrack and get the full impact of the show!
