The Orpheum Theatre Presents “It’s A Wonderful Life” – A Live Radio Play

Inspired by the classic Frank Capra film It’s a Wonderful Life, this radio play by is performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience. Watch as the stage is transformed into a radio studio where this beloved American holiday tale comes to captivating life as a small ensemble of actors perform the dozens of characters in the radio play as well as produce the sound effects. It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play tells the story of idealistic George Bailey as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

The show’s cast consists of many talented local actors, making up the Playhouse of the Air Ensemble at WBFR Studios in New York City.

Tickets for this holiday classic are $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for youth and students on the Main Floor and Balconies; $15.00 for all ages on the Mezzanine.
