Throwback Thursday – Hidden Figures

Three brilliant African-American mathematicians—Katherine Johnson (played by Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer), and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)—serve as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. Working at NASA during a time of intense racial and gender discrimination, these visionary women cross all lines of race and gender to inspire generations. Faced with complex equations and a high-stakes space race against time, they must work together to achieve the ultimate triumph: changing the course of space exploration forever.
