Treat Street in downtown Galesburg

Families are invited to come to downtown Galesburg for some family fun, photo opportunities, and other spooky spectacles while trick-or-treating at participating businesses. Join the carnival in the Galesburg Public Library’s Storybook Garden from 10am-noon, stop by Central Fire Station for frightful fun, and check out Galesburg Civic Art Center’s new home. Trick-or-Treating runs from 11am to 1pm. Start at Park Plaza to pick up your treat street bag and map of participating businesses.

10am-noon: Halloween mini-carnival at Galesburg Public Library.

11am-1pm: Trick-or-Treat at participating businesses–be sure to start at Park Plaza to pick up your map and DCP bag and enter to win a gift card to a downtown business.

11am-1pm: Visit the Central Fire Station for some extra-eerie excitement.

1:15pm:  Draw the winners of the gift cards, announce the winner of the business decorating contest, and announce the winning name of the Welcoming Witch from Experience Galesburg

2pm: Little Shop of Horrors matinee by Prairie Players Civic Theatre (admission fee, parental guidance suggested)

3pm-5pm: Halloween Hoopla at Discovery Depot (admission fee)
