Walnut Grove Farm’s Saint Nick’s Online Shop

Walnut Grove Farm, a National Historic Register farmstead, is hosting its first online Christmas sales event called “Saint Nick’s Online Shop”. It is now underway and runs until December 15th. Featuring gifts from regional artisans, holiday confections, fresh evergreens, designer wreaths, and swags, it is a way to shop comfortably and support local businesses during the pandemic. The in-person event that has been an established family tradition during Thanksgiving weekend is cancelled for this year due to COVID 19. Walnut Grove Farm has showcased fine artistic talent from people who are some of the most creative business entrepreneurs of West Central Illinois for 29 years. At this juried online sale, artisans are offering a diverse range of one-of-a-kind items from pottery to fiber art, hand-made soap, photography, folk art and jewelry to weaving; wood carving, wall quilts and polymer clay accessories to hand-felted, repurposed denim and crocheted wearable art. “Raven & Birch” adds special interest for shoppers looking for locally produced food gift items including special order holiday cheesecakes and homemade Christmas candies.
