 CHICAGO (AP) — The Blackhawks have acquired Rob Scuderi in a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins for fellow defenseman Trevor Daley.
CHICAGO (AP) — The Blackhawks have acquired Rob Scuderi in a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins for fellow defenseman Trevor Daley.
The 36-year-old Scuderi has four assists and 32 blocked shots in 25 games with Pittsburgh this season. He has eight goals and 96 assists in 745 games over 12 NHL seasons with Pittsburgh and Los Angeles.
Scuderi also won the Stanley Cup in 2009 with the Penguins and 2012 with the Kings.
Daley, 32, was acquired by Chicago in the July trade that sent Patrick Sharp to Dallas. He had six assists in 29 games with the Blackhawks.
Daley made his NHL debut with the Stars in 2003 and has 67 goals and 170 assists in 785 games over 12 seasons.
