Governor Bruce Rauner was in Chicago Thursday, where he announced that a new CEO had been hired for “Intersect Illinois” — a public-private state-operated economic development partnership. But, with lawmakers in Springfield and portions of the so-called “grand bargain” either making it through or not through the legislature, Rauner was asked about that and other issues with reporters in Chicago.
