Michael Lee “Fast Track” Dalton, 73, of Galesburg, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. Mike was born October 7, 1944 in Galesburg, the son of Orville W. and Elizabeth Z. (Meehan) Dalton. Mike is survived by one brother, Dan Dalton of Galesburg; and two sisters, Ann (Hugh) Bannon of Park Ridge and Maye Lemauire of Scottdale, AZ. Along with his parents, Mike was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Mike was a blackjack dealer at the Paradise Casino in Peoria for many years. He was a loving friend to many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Mike also enjoyed gambling and horse racing.
A celebration of life for Mike will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Thomas Legacy Center at Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Private family graveside services will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Galesburg. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
