To hear Galesburg Mayor John Pritchard tell it, if you thought there wasn’t actually a plan to market Galesburg as a tourism location, you would probably be right. The Convention and Visitors Bureau will become an entity separate from the Galesburg-Area Chamber of Commerce as of January first, becoming the Galesburg Tourism and Visitors Bureau.
