Samuel “Sammy” Michael Hillier, 4-week-old infant son of Jessica Hillier of Galesburg, passed away unexpectantly Saturday, December 21, 2019, at the Galesburg Cottage Hospital emergency room. He was born on November 25, 2019, in Galesburg. Sammy is survived by his mother Jessica (and Mitchell Guerin) Hillier; one brother, Alexander Peacock at home; his grandparents, Rita and Mark Sandman of Galesburg, Michael Hillier of Galesburg and Jamie Peacock of Abingdon; his great-grandparents, Rose Marie Raska of Galesburg, Jesus DeLacruz of Galesburg, Francis Horseford of Abingdon and Eva Peacock of Abingdon. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2019, at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel.
