Cottage Hospital has said they are out of COVID-19 vaccines about halfway through the first day of their two-day clinic and they will NOT have more on Friday.
The Knox County Unified Command’s clinic at the Knox County Farm Bureau exhausted their supply of the vaccine for the day on Thursday as well.
Residents 65 and older can still come to the Unified Command clinic tomorrow when the supply will be replenished, but the Unified Command is asking residents to avoid the area in the meantime due to traffic concerns.
The vaccination is free and will be available at the Farm Bureau office Friday on a first come first serve basis.
The supplies of vaccines are determined by the State of Illinois’ distribution plan. As additional supplies of vaccine arrive, the Knox County Health Department will provide additional details about the County’s local vaccination plan.
