Galesburg Police were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot early afternoon on May 3rd for reports of a domestic dispute taking place between a male subject and a female subject. The couple was seen pushing a cart full of merchandise through the parking lot. Police arrived on scene and made contact with the subjects: 55-year old Brian Stark and 38-year old Wynita Crowe both of Galesburg. An asset protection employee for Walmart told police the couple had “ticket switched” the items in the cart, according to police reports. The couple paid just over $56 for the merchandise that was actually valued at over $400. Both Stark and Crowe were placed under arrest for Felony Retail Theft and taken to the Knox County Jail.
