
Grammy-nominated country artists Josh Turner and Joe Nichols will be hitting the grandstand stage this summer at the Knox County Fair.
The two artists were announced today to headline the grandstand show that is scheduled for July 14.
Turner, known for such songs as ‘Why Don’t We Just Dance,’ ‘Your Man,’ ‘Long Black Train,’ and ‘Would You Go With Me,’ has sold more than 8.5 million units and has amassed over 2.5 billion online streams.
He was nominated in 2006 for two Grammy’s for Best Male Country Vocal Performance and for Best Country Album.
Nicholas, who was nominated in 2002 and 2003 for Best Country Album and for Best Male Country Vocal Performance in 2002, is known for such songs as ‘Brokenheartsville’ and ‘Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,’ and ‘Gimmie That Girl.’
Gates for the show will open at 6:00 with the show beginning at 7:00. Tickets are on sale now on the fair’s website.
