CHICAGO (AP) – An Illinois grand jury has indicted the father of man charged with fatally shooting seven people at a Fourth of July parade in suburban Chicago. The Wednesday indictment was confirmed by the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office. The indictment charges 58-year-old Robert Crimo Jr. with seven counts of reckless conduct. Prosecutors have said Crimo helped his son to obtain a gun license even though the then-teenager had threatened violence against himself and others. A grand jury indicted Crimo’s son, Robert Crimo III, in July on 21 first-degree murder counts, 48 counts of attempted murder and 48 counts of aggravated battery.
