Thursday: Ugly Christmas Sweater Run
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Let’s celebrate with a little run around Galesburg. Run will start at 6 p.m., and food and beverages will be provided after the run. Meet at 6140run in your best ugly Christmas sweater, no sign-up required!
Friday: Fa La Holiday Party
It is that time of the year again to grab your friends and join the Young Professionals Network as we hop to some of our favorite establishments in Galesburg. This holiday fun event is open to all ages 21+ and will include signature drink options at every stop, Jimmy’s Pizza, a “Jolly Trolley” ride from three of the locations, prizes for reindeer games throughout the night and more! Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased online!
We will start at Jimmy’s for check in and pizza at 5 p.m. then make our way to the Vault. After the Vault we will jump on the Jolly Trolley to go to Opie’s Bar and Grill, then the Patio and will finally drop us back off at the Bar 65. We will spend about an hour at each place so if you can’t make it to all of the stops, feel free to join us or leave us at your leisure. Ugly sweaters and holiday outfits are not only welcomed but highly encouraged!
Saturday: Cookie Decorating
Stop by Main Stop Nutrition from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 16 to decorate some cookies! Bring the kiddos for some family fun decorating holiday cookies and sipping on yummy drinks. We hope to see you there!
Saturday: Christmas on the Air: A Live Radio Play
Travel back in time to the 1940s with this live radio play for one night only! Set in a radio studio, audience members witness a Christmas Eve broadcast that includes many of the beloved members of Playhouse on the Air performing stories and sketches based on such popular radio shows as “My Favorite Husband,” Our Miss Brooks,” “The Lone Ranger,” and LUX Radio Theatre. Come join us in this almost ten year holiday tradition at The Orpheum Theatre! Tickets are $15. Event begins at 7pm. Saturday: A Nova Christmas
You don’t want to miss A Nova Christmas! Friday, December 15, 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport or Saturday, December 16, 7:30 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Galesburg. Tickets available at the door, with prices being: Adults $20, Seniors (62+) $17 and Students FREE! Come out and celebrate the holidays with us and sing a familiar tune or two!
