Second installments of the Knox County 2024 real estate bills are due Wednesday, Sept. 3.
To avoid statutory penalty effective after the second installment, payments must be mailed with postmark no later than Sept. 3.
There are two payment drop boxes located on the Knox County Courthouse grounds, 200 S. Cherry St.
Echeck and credit or debit card payments are also available with a fee to the cardholder at the Treasurer’s office, online at www.payknoxcoil.us, or by phone at (309) 315-4760.
As well, payments can be made through Sept. 3 at any of the banks in Knox County excluding Wells Fargo (per their request).
The Knox County Treasurer/Collector’s office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office will be closed Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of Labor Day.
