Patrick J. Kidwell, 75, of Knoxville, Ill., died at 5:24 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2026 in Williamsfield, Ill.
He was born on January 5, 1951 in Avon, Ill., the son of James Hillman and Caroline (Rodenberg) Kidwell. He attended both Mills Grade School and Junior High. He married Donna Pauline Masterson on April 5, 1980 in London Mills, Ill.
Surviving is his wife, Donna of Knoxville, Ill.; children: Patricia S. (Lee) Jones of Abingdon, Ill., Caroline Keuhn of Abingdon, Ill., Lisa M. (Danny) England of Gilson, Ill., Micheal D. Parks of Knoxville, Ill. and Bridget A. (Brett) Homer of Ipava, Ill.; twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; siblings: John T. (Barb) Kidwell of Galesburg, Ill., Kathleen A. (Tom) Chatterton of Galesburg, Ill., Robert E. (Nancy) Kidwell of London Mills, Ill.; sister-in-law, Karen Lloyd of Houston, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother James Lloyd Kidwell.
He worked as a truck driver and mechanic, last working for Gene Shores of Shores Trucking. He enjoyed archery, hunting and scuba diving. He was either fixing up or tearing down projects.
