Back to normal at Lake Storey following February diesel spill

Operations are back to normal at Lake Storey after a diesel fuel spill back in February, that resulted in a temporary and precautionary closure of the lake while cleanup continued.  On Monday, the Galesburg City Council will approve an agreement that will allow the Galesburg Fire Department to be reimbursed by the State for their work cleaning the spill up.

We get an update on all of it from Galesburg Fire Chief Randy Hovind and Captain Brock Schmidt, the leader of the department's HazMat team, with Will Stevenson on Galesburg's Morning News.
