A very popular event among local youth and their families is this weekend. The annual Galesburg Youth Fishing Derby takes place Sunday at the Lincoln Park Lagoons. Poles will be available for kids who don't have them, and almost everyone who attends has the chance to catch a fish and, maybe, win a prize!
