Education and advocacy…and some sweet rides…at the ABATE Bash this weekend

The Illinois arm of ABATE has become one of the largest advocacy and lobbying organizations in the state of Illinois, and Knox County's chapter has become one of the original members of the group.

They're celebrating, and hope to educate you on motorcycles -- and how bad they're not -- at the annual ABATE Bash starting Friday night, August 23, at the Knox County Fairgrounds and continuing through Saturday.

The legendary Jim Hawk is a part of Central Illinois ABATE, and talks about this weekend's event with Will Stevenson on Galesburg's Morning News.
