Superintendent: District’s Special Ed program just passed state audit

The Superintendent of the Galesburg School District is defending the district from allegations of mismanagement and mishandling of the district's special education program.

Dr. John Asplund, among other things, says if the allegations advocate Julie Duvall levelled are to be believed, in some cases, that's the first he's heard of them.  He also denies claims that the District-205 Board isn't getting the full story.

Asplund talked Monday night with Will Stevenson for Galesburg's Morning News.
