Honoring all who served: 2024 Galesburg Veterans parade is Sunday

The 2024 Galesburg Veterans Day Parade steps off at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10 in Downtown Galesburg.

The parade includes marching bands, veteran organizations, car clubs, scouting groups and our local heroes in uniform. Grand Marshal is Korean War veteran Lomac Payton.

Parade organizer and veteran Ryan Hummel joined Galesburg's Morning News to preview the event.
