Corvette club’s 50-year journey

The Glass Favorites Corvette Club is marking 50 years since its 1975 founding. John Dredge, Charlie Brown, and Roger Schrodt joined Galesburg's Morning News to share the club’s origins and past events like haunted houses and car shows. They discuss current membership, the Carl Sandburg College scholarship, and 2025 plans, including the Corvettes vs. Dragon cruise. The interview highlights Yemm Chevrolet’s long sponsorship and the June 14 Cars and Coffee event. They also cover Corvette trends and personal favorites. Cars and Coffee will happen from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Yemm, 2195 N. Henderson St.
