All-Stars Sports Academy: Finding a ‘Solution’ for Galesburg’s youth

In this episode of Galesburg In Focus, host Chris Postin speaks with Mike Spinks, owner of All Stars Sports Academy & Skate Palace, Joey Range from the academy's "Solution" program, and Knox College student Lily Burns, a former participant in the program. They discuss the upcoming launch of the "Solution" program, a FREE after-school initiative for students in grades 5 through 12.

The program will offer a variety of engaging activities, including themed events, field trips, and opportunities for good grades and attendance awards. Participants will benefit from guest speakers, leadership mentoring, and college academic and athletic placement programs, all within a safe and positive environment.

Listeners will learn how they can support this initiative through donations or volunteering, as well as how to sign up their children for the program. For more information, contact Mike Spinks at 847-630-6399, Joey Range at 309-371-8596 or email allstarsportsacademy@gmail.com.
