Christmas On the Air: A 1940s radio revival

Travel back in time to the 1940's with the live radio play Christmas On the Air at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at The Orpheum Theatre. Set in a radio studio, audience members witness a Christmas Eve broadcast that includes many of the beloved members of Playhouse on the Air performing stories and sketches based on such popular radio shows as "My Favorite Husband", "Our Miss Brooks", "The Lone Ranger", and LUX Radio Theatre.

Tim Holmes, director and writer of Christmas On the Air, joined WGIL's Tyler Gumm and Jay Redfern on Galesburg's Morning News to preview the holiday radio show.
