From local needs to local solutions: The Power of GCF Community Funds

This segment of Galesburg's Morning News featured Jillian Isaacson from the Galesburg Community Foundation, Mandy Balser from the Knoxville Community Fund, and Kathy Wight from the Williamsfield Community Fund, discussing community grants, teacher mini-grants and The Turnout.

Community Funds are permanent endowment funds at the GCF that grant to nonprofits serving specific communities in Knox and Warren Counties, guided by local advisory boards.

The Turnout is the GCF's annual grant cycle open to public charities in Knox, Warren, and now Henderson County.
