A familiar name is Galesburg’s new director of Public Works.
Aaron Gavin, longtime city engineer, officially took over the duties Jan. 22, 2025. He had been serving the role on an interim basis.
A native of Monmouth, Gavin joined WGIL's Jay Redfern and Tyler Gumm on Galesburg's Morning News where they discuss:
