The Knox County Sheriff’s Department has a Marine Unit. Find out how you can help fund the unit this weekend

The Knox County Sheriffs Department has a Marine Unit, tasked with responding to any of a number of potential issues that could happen in the dozens of waterways throughout the more than seven hundred square miles of the county.  They're looking to start upgrading their equipment, and you can help by attending a fundraising pancake breakfast Saturday morning, June 22.

Knox County Sheriffs Department Sergeants Matthew Stewart and Nathan Messmore talk about the unit, and the fundraiser, with Will Stevenson on Galesburg's Morning News.
