Why Jeremy Karlin is leaving the Knox County State’s Attorney’s Office

Knox County State's Attorney Jeremy Karlin is resigning effective September 5 -- several months prior to his term ending.  Karlin, who was not going to seek another term, says the reasons are many -- including, getting an offer to rejoin private practice, at a time when attorneys both in Galesburg and elsewhere may be in short supply.
