Galesburg Sunrise Rotary’ 3rd Annual Ball Drop

What: 3rd Annual Galesburg Sunrise Rotary Ball Drop fundraiser. (over 800 numbered golf balls
will be dropped from a height of 70 feet from a Galesburg Fire Department ladder truck, with the three balls closest to the target winning cash prizes)

Ball Drop prizes of $1,000, $500, and $250 to be awarded.
Food will be available for purchase from Smokin Willies.
Country music will be performed by Larry Inman and Freedom Road.
Activities and giveaways at United Way of Knox County’s Born Learning Trail.
Activity kits from Discovery Depot and more.
When: Event begins at noon on Saturday, September 24, 2022, with the ball drop at 1:30pm.
Where: Rotary Park (W. Losey Street, Galesburg).
Why: Galesburg Sunrise Rotary is a volunteer service organization that uses the proceeds to provide scholarships to students at Knox and Carl Sandburg Colleges, to GHS students, and supports numerous area organizations with financial support and volunteer hours.
