Join the Support Group for African American Affairs (S.G.A.A.A.) as they present their first annual Fundraiser to raise funds for advancing education, diversity, equity and inclusion!

February is Black History Month and we want to bring attention to our historical roots through an evening of Jazz and Funk featuring “The Cat Gaddis Band.” Doors will open at 5:30 pm where drinks will be offered for free until 6:30 pm, dinner will be served and a silent auction featuring Galesburg businesses and some outside organizations like the Chicago White Sox! We hope to sell 200 tickets to reach our goal for presenting Juneteenth celebrations this summer as well as funding our 22nd Annual Knox County College Scholarship to a graduating high school senior! Tickets cost $50 and may be purchased by calling 913-356-2323, emailing s.g.a.a.a.892@gmail.com, visiting our Facebook “Support Group for African American Affairs” or connecting with a member!

Thank you to our sponsors: The Vault at Reserve Artisan Ales, Nature’s Treatment of Galesburg, Walmart of Galesburg, Second Hand Finds of Galesburg, Robert Senneff, Ameren, Holiday Inn Express & Suites of Galesburg, Wisdom Financial of Galesburg, F&M Bank, Midwest Bank, Galesburg NAACP Branch 3016, and Dame Fine Coffee!
