Sunday around 9:30 pm, while conducting a routine patrol in the area of East Knox Street and Michigan Avenue, Galesburg police observed a Ford SUV in the area.GPD ran the registration which came back in 27-year old Sean Swing’s name of Knoxville. Swing had an outstanding warrant in McDonough County. GPD initiated a traffic stop and made contact with Swing. There was also a 16-year old male juvenile and a 15-year old female juvenile as passengers in the vehicle. While placing Swing under arrest for the warrant, he admitted to having cannabis on his person. Swing had a baggie of cannabis in his pocket, an electronic cannabis smoking device, another baggie of cannabis in the center cupholder of the vehicle, and a container of cannabis remnants. Swing was arrested for the McDonough County Warrant and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle.
