Three injured in single-vehicle crash in Warren County

Three people were transported to an area hospital after a single-vehicle crash in Warren County.

According to the Illinois State Police at around 11:25 on Friday night, a 2005 Chevrolet Truck driven by 34-year-old Jeremy Cassidy of Monmouth was traveling east along 180th Avenue, near the 120th Street intersection.

Police say that the driver lost control and entered the eastbound ditch where the vehicle overturned. Police say that all three suffered serious injuries in the crash.

Along with the driver, 38-year-old Marcus Albert of Galesburg and 21-year-old Logan Stanley of Monmouth were also injured.

Police say alcohol was a factor in the crash, as Cassidy was arrested for Aggravated Driving Under the Influence. He was also cited for Improper Lane Usage, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid a Crash, and No Insurance.
